The 2008 Mercedes-Benz GL550

The new high performance Mercedes-Benz GL550 7 Seater SUV is equipped with the 382-horsepower V-8 engine mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission that shifts effortlessly and is geared to climb the mountains more quickly, even when all three rows are occupied by seven passengers.

Mercedes 4MATIC 4-wheel drive system is of course standard. Uni-body construction yields smoother handling and weighs less than a comparable truck-based SUV.
